This really does sound great, the songs have much more life injected into them.

The original UK press of 'Entreat' is still the high watermark of what an arena-based Cure live LP can sound like, from this era.

That said, this is an improvement over the remastered 'Show' - none of that mid-bass mud that has plagued the other RS remasters. Maybe he has changed his mastering chain?

Also: Augen auf beim Plattenkauf...
"The Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is gratefully receiving 50% of the recording royalties payable to the Cure and Fiction Records in support of international relief work. If you would like to make further contributions to the work of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, please do so sending your donation to your national society."

I know the original CD version by heart and in this remaster I can appreciate some details that I never got in the cd. It sounds powerful, dynamic... Really worth every penny and year waited.

Wow! Finally, we are facing a convincing RS remaster after all these years. This remaster has everything you might wish for: punch, clarity, details, clean layering, spot-on vocals… it’s all there! I always loved this album but it’s this remaster that really highlights the greatness of Boris Williams's drumming. No offence Jason, but this is next level.

Pressing quality is very good - not perfect, but close to.

I dare to say that this reissue sounds better than my EU first press. Buy with confidence!

Have no fear, good ol' Bob got this one right. After years of staring at the OG vinyl going for upwards of $800, I am delighted to finally having this in the collection and sounding fantastic.

How does this pressing compare to the recent wish and show reissue? I own the wish one and the new master is really not that good and I’ve also read about quality issues on show. Does this release also come with the same issues? Thanks for the answers in advance! :)

Excellent remaster with nice crisp clarity in the sound. Pressing is flawless as well.

This remaster jumps out of your speakers. While I'm not always a fan of Robert Smith's remaster work, I think Miles kept things under control. I wish that we get the full show someday, until then I think this is a great remaster and reissue.
