Us American white folk regularly get put to shame by black American musical artists. Edwin Starr is no exception, avoid listening to him unless you enjoy feeling inferior to human beings with more god-given talent in their pinky finger than your entire body. I DO enjoy this feeling, and I do enjoy this record as well. It has the ever-famously covered original "War", (Bruce Springsteen, DOA, etc), but its the grooving funk good time rocking and reeling such as "All Around The World" and the pimp-slappin thought-provokin' "Time" that make me love this record. Oddly, Starr does a cover version of "Raindrops Keep Fallin On My Head" which doesn't fit in at all, as if it was the idea of the idiotic white record label executives who probably used it as the single.
