Do you need one reason to buy this record? Well, i'll give you seven: track 10 to 16: the unreleased soundtrack to 'L'Antarctique'.
In 1974 Jacques-Yves Cousteau the maker of this nature film rejected these tracks because they were 'too radical' for that kind of cinema. At that time the man was right but, oh boy, can we appreciate this music now! These old synth productions will give any downtempo producer a run for his money. This still stands after all those years. By the way, this is excellent material for trick questions during a popquiz. Everybody will think it is Air. Listen and learn.
