The private records version 369.039 is quite good. I can see nothing wrong. The label on the record is a copy of the original, sure, but soundwise it is not bad at all. Consider the age of the record. As it seems, for the Repress they've found a pretty good record.
Wonder if the original tapes are any good if they're even around.
For me I am glad I got at least a repress, after I borrowed my original to some friend back than and never got it back.
You will not get earcancer from listening to this repress.

I bought this song back when it was first released at Butch Wax records in San Francisco in 82 I think and l always liked it , unfortunately in 2004 I sold it on eBay for almost 300 , which surprised everyone at the time . But I do remember this , it did have very bad surface noises all through the record , and my copy was mint condition , there was a lot of crackling all over . Ofcourse I regret selling years later , I am curious to hear the difference now in the reissue , I may look into buying it soon . Just a heads up to new collectors out there , a lot of Italian pressings are kinda like this , like disco magic and Ill disc label , the music itself is beautiful and it's like glass clarity on some pressings , but there is background surface noise at the same time .

My opinion: Not happy with the sound - really dull! Keeps my quite disappointed.

This sounds like The "Bee Gees" meets :Kraftwork",,,IMO, I think this is just okay. Got a reissue on Dark Entries & there are plenty of cheap copies available that no one is really buying.

True classic, way ahead of It's time. Don't sleep if you find an affordable copy. Both sides are amazing and you can really see how this track influenced the future. Italo Disco doesn't get much better than this IMO.
