Reviews
- Owns one and mine is a promo version. Each instrument sounds so crisp and alive in this one. The original press in good condition costs fortune and the latest Verve on Request isn’t getting good reviews. Glad I got hold of this version despite the subpar artwork.
Edited 2 months agoThis sounds great! Beats the Verve By Request reissue into dust. Get this instead if you don't mind the altered cover.- I haven’t heard an original or early pressing to compare but this pressing does not disappoint. Piano has some weight and there is great separation in the instruments.
It is “Digitally Remastered from the original tapes” so I imagine it’s a different feel from the early pressings.
The cover isn’t nearly as cool but for a fraction of the price, this is a great copy to start with.
