Notes

Info on insert:

A1. Doin Ya Thang was announced track with Moody
A2. That Ole Devil Called Love by Billie Holiday Remix, which was originally turned down by Verve Records before being released digitally
B1. One of nine tracks recorded live at an unannounced, pop up show in Seattle with an audience of no more than 50 and unfortunately no one really knew who he was but still a great show. (I think he added more crowd noise than there actually was in attendance)

Since Discogs has started to fanatically block unofficial releases from the marketplace we here have a beautiful example of how complicated guidelines can be. I am not a vinyl pressing authority but am pretty sure this release indeed came from the KDJ camp, considering the vinyl, the typical black outer sleeve, the run out grooves and the mastering. My guess is KDJ was not very amused with the way Oliver $ released his "Doin' Ya Thang" and decided to respond by also releasing it accompanied by 2 other tracks produced by himself. Supposedly both attempts are unofficial but to aband this release makes you wonder where you draw the line when is comes to bootlegs, or as the purists would say, counterfeits. For KDJ fanatics this release has become a tough one to hunt down now, they will have to wait till it pops up again in the local record stores, that is, if they are willing to sell unofficial releases :)

A1 - "Doin' Ya Thang" is shorter than the version found on the original Doin' Ya Thang EP 12" and the single sided Doin' Ya Thang EP bootleg-- 1 minute of beat is cut at the end.
