- Deep Bill Evans LP. Shelly Manne, and Monty Budwig help form this incredible one-off trio, featuring some of Budwig's best bass playing that accompanies Evans, augments Manne so well (check out Budwig's 1977 LP on Concord!).
But Evans steals the show, without meaning to, but his playing is so distinct, so brilliant, it's difficult for him not to.
Essentially one of the still very under the radar early 60's Bill Evans LP's that won't cost a C-Note or several....
