- Edited 20 years agoThis release is as crazy as the other Les Berrtas splatter sound-style sh**! Whether you hate it or it brings a big smile on you face. :-)))
‘Es War Sommer’ (it was summer) was even a big scandal when the original release, performed by german Pop-Rock artist Peter Maffay (‘Tabaluga und Lilli’), came out in the 70s. It’s about a 16 year old boy loseing his virginity on a 31 year old lady!!! Les Berrtas just topping that with there own splatter style.
‘Ich Bin Tod’ is a nice ironic remake of Das Ich’s ‘Gottes Tod’. Mainly they changed the lyrics from ‘god is dead’ into ‘I am dead’ and ‘Am I dead?’. This track is also the reason why this CD5” was hard to get here in Germany, because Bruno Kramm (Das Ich) didn’t liked what they did with his song. So it wasn’t available at the stores, only by a few mailorder shops and their own fanbase.
‘Killer’ is a more or less the german version. “The killer comes the killer goes!” Yeah he realy does! :-)))
So if you do understand german, this CD is worth buying it.
