Edited 8 months agoHello, I need clarification. As far as I know, there are 32 Francoise albums. Why is the "2024 Paris Record" listed in the category albums? What is the reason to classify this record under albums?
Edited 8 months agoLet's face it: despite the cool, artistic presentation, this Malcolm McLaren production was overall soapy kitsch 30 years ago and sounds even less convincing today 🫤.
Moreover, this 30th anniversary of "Paris" is an even bigger missed opportunity because for some strange reason Sony Music left out the second half of the still criminally overlooked promo-only 2x12" of Malcolm McLaren - The Largest Movie House In Paris with its truly eclectic, mesmerizing instrumentals.
I can only emphasize how great these four missing "Paris Cinq - Huit" instrumentals are, which can be found on vinyl not only on the afore-mentioned US double-promo, but also on the official US Malcolm McLaren - The Largest Movie House In Paris single LP.
Again, it’s just too bad that Sony Music deprived us of the very best four tracks from Malcolm McLaren "Paris" venture. Without “Paris Cinq – Huit” this new vinyl edition is unfortunately not recommended 😕...
