Reviews
masterwork, masterwork, masterwork, masterwork, masterwork, masterwork, masterwork, masterwork, masterwork,
masterwork- Edited 9 years agoI think it goes without saying that probably one of the most defining moments for the Last Poets
was a very short but lyrically impressive track from this (their second LP). called "Mean Machine Chant". Probably one of the most sampled phrases used in hip hop music but it often get's used in just about every type of sample based electronic dance music you can think of for the last 25 years. It's such a brilliant chant and it never tires with age. Always relevant and dope.
