w o r d s- Edited one month agoWE HAVE JUST NOTICED that the U.S. card sleeve is approx 5mm larger (in both height and width) compared to the European release. Rather unusual ! We also have noticed that on the reverse sleeve the First Pressing (?) says Disc Made In Mexico and the re-stock now says Vinyl Made In Mexico. Anyway, we just wanted to keep the world informed. We thank you.
Edited one month agoSounds perfect! I'm so happy to finally be able to listen to Read and Makeout whenever I want to- My copy came warped but it still sounds good. 3 stars for quality control.

reminder that these are final sale! my copy sounds beautiful on side a with glb, but unfortunately side b with the demo has extremely warped vocals, completely unlistenable.

Can anyone tell me if the copies from Island Records online store are the US or EU version? I ordered one from Island Records in the US but it arrived and doesn’t have “Made in Mexico” printed on the shrink or the “Made in Germany” sticker. The one from Island Records feels heavier than the EU one and the cover is darker so I’m assuming it’s the US one?
Edited 2 months agoWith this pressing, Joe Nino-Hernes at Sterling once again shows why he's going to go in the vinyl cutting engineer hall of fame one day. Incredibly dynamic, warm midrange and Chappell's vocals float with an airiness that'd make you think it was recorded on tape. There are a few ticks and pops that are only audible before and after the song.
