Did you notice that the track "Fiction of veracity" is noted 8.37' (that is the exact running time on my CD) but 6.37' on the LP ? I don't have the LP to compare...
This fabulous album needs a vinyl reissue. I just don't understand why it never happened.
This gem of a an album from Montreal metal heads “Obliveon” is absolutely superb in every way…..technical death metal that reminds one of bands like “Atheist” and “Death”, yet these guys have a clearly original progressive sound and highly proficient musicianship that could easily stand out on itself even without the solid thrash vocals. While the bass mix on the original vinyl & CD releases was somewhat loud and over-the-top, the hyper-rare Canadian “Press Play” master seems to have corrected that minor flaw. An amazing album (and amazingly hard-to-find) !- Great progressive thrash death metal!
