Reviews
- Just like all Jugoton releases from the 1980s, it's a quiet and crisp pressing, depending on how well preserved your copy is. The cover art is obviously an hommage to The Police's "Synchronicity".
Due to it being predominantly an instrumental record, it somehow goes back to the band's fusion roots, with a heavy emphasis on Balkan roots. As these are all tracks from various Yugoslavian movies, plays, and TV shows, the motifs are inspired by local heritage, but nevertheless, this still plays as a steady flowing, Leb I Sol album. It's great to hear Garo Tavitjan on the drums again, as well.
If you've never listened to Leb i Sol before, you should check out some of their more popular stuff first. A gem of a record, sort of like a monument to the careless days of childhood in the 80s Yugoslavia, jam-packed with nostalgia-inducing themes.
