Went to my local record shop when this came out and they sold out. My guy told me to hit another neighbouring record shop and thankfully they had 2 copies. Now that those songs are on the Cutouts LP, it’s not terrible if you didn’t get a chance to grab this. However, if you do have it, this format does play the songs louder and with a little more definition then the LP versions. Great collectors item!- Edited one month agoSide A has a decent chunk of crackle, but a wet clean will likely solve most of it, AA is dead silent. Great press, glad i could pick this one up at the melbourne popup shop!
Optimal did it again, my copy is clean as a whistle and dead quiet, sounds fantastic! Lovely little single, I particularly dig the krautrock influenced The Slip. My only complaint is that they didn't do this at 45 RPM, there's a lot of unnecessary deadwax left.
My copy sounds excellent. No issues whatsoever, flat, dynamic, no surface noise. The Slip is a banger. Love Jonny's guitar on this track.- Enjoyed these two songs quite a bit. More upbeat and electronic focused than anything on Wall Of Eyes. Hoping this is a hint to their next album, but I guess time will tell. This is a great collectors item… but wouldn’t pay crazy prices

Picked up a copy and have to say that The Slip is one of my favorite songs from them yet. Love the groovy guitar riff and Thom’s mesmerizing vocals on this track. Definitely worth the pickup. My pressing had a few pops throughout but otherwise very little surface noise and sounded great.
For only two songs… this is pretty magical. My pressing was actually super quiet and dynamic. Thom and Johnny just continue to crush.
