One should listen to "Roger the rocket ship" and then to "Evening over rooftops" on the Edgar Broughton Bands eponymous 1971 album. "Roger" is really a blueprint in the use of the chords, vocals and the mood of the slightly distorted keyboard solo towards the end.

This is really the sixth West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band album. Not as strong as the first four but well worth hearing for fans of this most obscure, elusive and surreal of 60s bands.
