- My black vinyl bootleg of this sounds better than my official pressing (this one)...make it make sense lol
- Got this at a deep discount, sealed. Disc 1 slightly warped, nothing major. The sound is good but not super impressive. It sound like the cd, which doesn't surprise me for a massive label release like this. I feel like every pumpkins record ever released has had digital mastering. I wish someday they would allow an audiophile label to do some AAA releases. 🤞
Vinyl is flat, quiet and kicks ass. Very happy with this purchase and if you're a casual fan of the Pumpkins this is the one to get.- Edited 9 months agoBoth disks slightly warped, and the poly lined sleeves were damaged which was weird. The back states “Made in Mexico”, which is never a good sign.
Does anyone know what pressing plant this is from? - After being disappointed with the distracting noise on the Wal-Mart red exclusive, I picked up the U.S. 180 g black and am happy to report that it is very quiet and also flatter (although not COMPLETELY flat).
My pressing is extremely noisy, which is really disappointing. The dynamics and soundstage are excellent, but the noise is just too much, even after cleaning it twice.
Dead silent and flat. Very satisfied. Punchy and crispy pressing.
Landslide alone is worth it.. sounds amazing sounds amazing just got it today- Edited 11 months agoYou never know with a comp, especially these days with new pressings - but this one does not disappoint. Excellent pressing, quiet vinyl and sounds fantastic!
Pleasantly surprised by the audio quality. I have the standalone albums, Singles Soundtrack, and The Lost Highway on vinyl but couldn't resist double dipping for the additional 4 tracks on Side D. Hoping for a Machina reissue next!
