This sounds completely okay to my ears. Remember this is Dinosaur Jr we're talking about, the master tape is muddy and distorted (apparently the VU meters at SST were in the red almost the whole time when they first played the tape).

Not sure if some people are missing the point of the band's sound, but this record sounds great!

I'm getting loads and loads of distortion, especially on the guitars. Almost makes it sound, like.. "fuzzy"... Anyone else?

First - this is not a high quality recording, but nevertheless - this reissue is missing something. I compared it to a first press and this one is way better.

Definitely very poor sound on this record. If you listen to the remaster on any other medium, you will hear the difference clearly.

Excellent reissue, Dinosaur Jr was muddy and fuzzy as hell. If you have "sensitive" ears, don't buy this record !!!!!

It's not a great pressing, but for the $13 I paid for it, I'm keeping it. I wouldn't call it muddy, but the cymbals have definitely been pushed behind everything else. It's not like this kind of music is begging for the audiophile treatment anyways. Worth buying if you don't have the album and can find it cheap.

Very poor. I’m not going to leave a review because there’s a chance the original production was just plain bad, but I’d stay away from this pressing. Very muddy.
