SND & RTN – ECHO LTD 010 EP

I am the proud owner of the entire series so far. 1 to 10 are here in the record cabinet. Bought number ten today at the Clone record store in Rotterdam. Frenk Dublin, Echo LTD or SND & RTN, all one and the same producer, stationed in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, always delivers quality. Heavy bass dub techno with lots of echo, reverb and space. The influences of Rod Modell and Mike Schommer, also known as Deepchord, are clearly audible. It is also good to hear that he also listened to Rhythm & Sound, also known as Basic Channel. This duo, Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus, are seen as the founders of this genre. Frenk Dublin's work is not inferior to these big names. The only thing he could use to grow in are his bass lines. In my opinion, these could have a bit more of a dub feel. They are low enough, now some funky dub lines. Keep it up Frank!!!

Look, fine, there are a gazillion dub/trance/beat herders out there already producing and distributing vinyl/cd etc to us ear holes. Butt I'm not going to skip by without a review. I seem to have 008, 10 and just thee second of the albums? 004? Well sodding, I lave em. Whispering of long intros into calmed beat synth. It caught my attention straight away and damn if I'm gonna let it go. NOT everybody's cup o tea but put that tea on yer deck an it's supper and morning coffee...xx
