In 1953 label owner Joe Davis got The Blenders to make an alternate version of 'Don't Play Around With Love' at the session that yielded the issued version of that song. The x-rated version, unreleased at the time, was eventually issued on Kelway in the early 1970s and again on an unofficial repro in the late 1980s.
