- An absolutely essential album for those who love late 1992-1993 hardcore. I remember being gutted at finding the CD case in a second hand music shop in 1994, only for the disc itself to have gone missing. Especially as it's now become a rarity over the years.
Some classic tracks from Reinforced Records mainstays 4 Hero, Manix, Nookie, Nick O-D, Nasty Habits, Tek 9, Nebula II and Rufige Kru plus some rarer tracks from Underground Software, Scott G Keith and Primary Source.
Worth getting a copy (or realistically, an official download) for the unique Nebula II "X-Plore H-Core (Wizard Of Oz Mix)". I really wasn't expecting to hear that when I first got myself a copy!!! - The version of Nebula II - X-Plore H-Core on this album is slightly different to the one on the single release. The album version has a weird bit with the melody from the Wizard of Oz. I'm sure I remember Joe from Nebula II mention on a forum that they only made that version for a laugh in the studio and he had no idea how/why it ever came out.
Edited 8 years agoYep! This was the Holy Grail to Hardcore & I wouldn't go anywhere without this blasting in my ears when I was on a mission . . . . . . Rivet 003 is a "must have" to have in your collection if you were an Old Skooler from back in the day - not many floating around on Vinyl now! \0
Edited 10 years agoA classic piece of history caught on cd from the Reinforced Records Camp. I rate the label more than any other If anyone can say they created Darkside Hardcore 4 hero can. This is an Awesome CD that caught the mood at the time. I will not go into every track there all good Doc scott and Kieth Sucklings track Get Busy Cru is the stand out one for me it would of been nice to see 2 more tracks on here one being Derranged and the other being In The Shadows by 4 Hero. They had some of the best producers on the label from Nebula to Nookie Rufige Cru and Doc Scott plus many more.This is a must for any collectors out there.
