High-quality pressing, I’d argue it plays better than the OG release of brat (my black ice copy has so much surface noise). My only complaint is both discs being in the same sleeve, and not having enough room to store one in the other sleeve.
Edited 21 days agoThis all white pressing is beautiful. Aesthetically pleasing, the "definitive edition" I chose for my collection. Just a little disappointed by the sound quality. It's not bad, but it's definetly not top notch
What bothers me the most is that both records came REALLY tight, inside the same sleeve - wich may cause slight warps
The booklet is thick, so it won't fit with one of the records on the other side of the gatefold either... Wish it had more space
Qui a imaginé ce packaging de merde? Les 2 vinyles sont chiants à rentrer dans la pochette. Le rond au dos de la pochette ne protège pas la face D. Obliger de mettre le livret en dehors... et l'autocollant sur le côté on en parle...
Just received in the mail today.
The packaging is excellent. Very thick. The booklet is top-notch quality as well. The sleeves the records are placed in are aesthetically pleasing (the offset numbers and track titles) but they are pretty thin. The sound quality is great, too. I purchased this variant of ‘Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not’ and the 3xLP remix album which has not arrived. Therefore, I do not know how the sound quality compares to the other pressings. Overall, a very good release!
My copy arrived today and the second disc had a pretty weird warp (almost like a bowl warp, but a little less severe). It's enough that basically none of the edge of the record touches the platter but not enough to really affect play. I'll ask the XCX store for an exchange but that was my main concern. Sound is good and packaging is nice. I'll probably revisit this post to write a review on the pressing after the new copy hopefully comes in.
It sounds spectacular and the vinyl is gorgeous buy it today
might anyone know if the sticker can be safely peeled?
i LOVE the all white and all white vinyls. really brings in the cover and the vibe of this release. i’m a little disappointed with how my copy came, both vinyls are warped badly and just emailed them for another one / exchange it. so far it sounds good, a few skips.
