It's funny that apparently this has got some interest due to an appearance on Youtube! I was rinsing this back in the 90s a fair bit, warming up for Lekebusch, Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills etc. A hidden gem / secret weapon that's no longer that secret (but is now £$£$!)

Great EP. Since Ellen Allien's B-sides on YouTube, it gained a lot of attention. I like the B-side, but i like the A-side even better.

Favorite B’side said Dj Ellen allien ! Classic techno track played in few parties all over the world ! Even now...

typical Felix "dark/psycho without going over the top" vibe here...A side sounds like Mike Ink, B side sounds like Rob Hood (would fit really well into a minimal techno set) again with a telltale Felix flavor. Agree with Ultraba about the high production quality (though Felix is from Chicago, not the D).

I have to say that Felix Da Housecat is not always my cup of tea. His nineties realeases are often so repetitive and Dj oriented to became unpleasant to my hears. On the contrary we have a true sound design within these two tracks. Both very clever works. Dark, bold, noisy and full of a real trance spirit. Space funk from Detroit, but so european in its deep feeling. The way Mr. Felix works with his synth variations recalls a Carl Craig's suite, but much harder and straightforward. I love this record and you will love it too ;)
