Reviews
- Incredible in every way. Not a single thing to complain about even in the slightest. No expense was spared in the mastering, pressing, packaging, etc. 6/5 stars.
- Simply outstanding in every aspect provided one likes the genre. Exceptional in the sense that except plating and pressing all production steps were done in-house Woodland. Free of unwanted noice. Slightly warped on B side but hardly audible. Special high recommendation.
- As others have said this is a fantastic pressing. Lovely gatefold jacket, poly sleeve and a well pressed record. Mine doesn't sound perfect but it sounds very very good. I'm really hoping for more pressings of their other fantastic albums
- An amazing record and stunning sound quality. Great to see this was pressed locally in Denver at the new Paramount plant.
- This is a stunning record in every way. The songs are gorgeous and the performances equally stunning.
The recording and pressing are beyond my expectations. The only downside of this record is it may well spoil you for what records should sound like.
A stunning achievement and an album I will cherish. - Edited one month agoAbsolutely outstanding album from Gillian and David. It's that kind of album that you engage with on a first play because the songs, the instrumentation and the recording are all top class. The pressing quality is just drop-dead amazing, with a complete absence of surface noises or ticks that too often spoil the listening experience. Paramount Pressing in Denver, CO, has really announced its arrival in a major way with this state-of-the-art recording/pressing. It is very encouraging too to see genuinely first class U.S. pressing plants now coming on stream, producing vinyl records of this quality. The artist obviously cares about the quality of its releases and provides a quality rice paper inner sleeve to house the vinyl platter. If only all records were this good!
- Can't believe I picked this up shrink wrapped for less than £25. Everything about it is quality. The packaging is top quality for a standard release: thick textured card that cannot be cheap to produce and a lyric sheet/inner sleeve separated from the vinyl which is in its own anti-static sleeve - almost as if it had been pre-owned by an audiophile. Warm sounding, plays loud and Rawlings' unique guitar tone really stands out. Only true artists put this much care into their work.
- The best album of the year 2024 as far as I'm concerned.
What a beautiful record this is, it seems as if sent from heaven.
The recording quality and pressing are sublime.
This is enjoyment at its finest.
