Reviews
- Big Brother was on fire in the spring of 68. They were recording Cheap Thrills during the week and would do shows on the weekends. Listening to live tapes from this time confirms they were at the top of their game..
- Janis and the band are having a blast on this recording. Everyone is in the pocket. I love how at the end of the recording, the emcee tells everyone to leave, followed by upcoming acts to the venue. Blood, Sweat & Tears, The Who, The Animals, and The Grateful Dead.
- This is an amazing live soundboard recording from 1968. If you like Janis Joplin, you will like this release. Definitely not cash grab from the record label bought mine at my local Record shop for $19.99.
It's flat, black and quite ,,, very well done.
