I agree with the other reviews, the audio on this is nothing to write home about, it's thin-sounding and lacks punch and dynamics (from a digital source?). Not including an inner sleeve is a bit of a disappointment too.
Wow, not even a paper sleeve for the inner. This is just lazy, a bad cash grab for RSD really.
Unfortunately they went the cheapest way possible with this. Firstly the music, which clearly isn't a dedicated vinyl master, sounds thin and a bit shrill. Secondly the packaging, a flimsy cover and no inner sleeve at all! 3 songs presented in that cheap way for 20+ bucks feels a bit like a rip off. I was also considering getting their other 12" Silver, glad I didn't...
Sourced from a CD. Audio is quite flat.
Seems like a cheap mastering job.
Sounds fine I guess just no where near as good as an original Ocean Rain pressing.
I never had the original of this version so cant compare.
