- Mixing of most songs is a bit on the muddy side, but the pressing is very very good.
Echoing the comments here, pleasantly surprised with the quality of this release. The gatefold is very welcome, the vinyl is flat and blemish free and it sounds great. Super detailed. Recommended.
Worth noting that currently this is the only way to hear this release in its entirety as there were clearance/legal issues with four of the tracks for the streaming release.- This is a decent release. Soundstage is good and punchy. But why they bothered with a gatefold sleeve is totally beyond me. To help sell the record maybe. But the interior of that gatefold sleeve is completely useless. Could have easily put some photos of the band or even better some photos of the releases from where these songs come from.
- I bought this album by chance and I’m glad I did. A nice collection of cover versions by one of my favourite bands.
The quality of the pressing is nice. No surface noise and it didn’t even require a clean which I find rare. The sound is clear and overall nice quality. A great purchase and it is a very worthwhile album for Garbage fans. - Agree with earlier comment, plays without surface noise or pops even before cleaning. Very good dynamics, bass is deep and clear. Electronics are well represented (i.m.o a vital part of the Garbage sound).
Very interesting to hear their take on well known songs, a must have for Garbage fans! - Great sound quality vinyl, zero surface noise, cool looking color and nice gatefold, well done.
