Reviews
- Edited 28 days agoSounds amazing. I only wish they included Gigantor, Symptom of the Universe and Lord of this World on side D or something instead of the etching. Pressing sounds good, can't complain about it. Only thing ab my copy is that there was some crackling during songs, which honestly upset me. But I'm sure a rinse would help. Get this pressing, it sounds good.
- Anyone compared this to the Deluxe? If so, what is the improvement if any? (I don’t want to know about the noise floor or defects please. I want to know how it compares sonically (clarity, soundstage, realism (do the drums snap better, less muddy on the guitars? etc etc)
Thanks - I was a wee bit concerned after reading some of these comment. But this really is great sounding, clean and clear.
- my record sounds very clean, the drum sound also. The inner sleevs are very simple but the Vinyl really looks and sounds fine. I am happy overall
- Like another individual stated: you really do have to crank the volume on this to get anything out of it. I think the sleeve is just fine, certainly of lower-quality but I've had/have worse... I did notice there was fading (?) of sorts... on the lyric sheets? Probably intentional, but I wasn't a fan of the inner sleeves / lyric sheets. Really solid release over all and I think this is worth the grab.
- Anyone who knows the differences between the releases?
Seems, the european variant (with the 'made in germany' sticker on the back) has completely different matrix.
I heard, the european edition was pressed at optimal media.
Can anyone confirm?
Otherwise a great release! I also own the 2x10 OG pressing.
The 2x10 is slightly more dynamic, the drums are amazing.
But this release is really a great addition and will be my 'regularly listen' variant. - Great quality record, at least mine was. Both of them sound great. Not as good as the original but for 31 bucks at soundwaves? It’s perfect to me. Only problem is the inserts. They suck… like really bad… I already got new ones.
- I wet clean all of my new purchases before they get played. The packaging is not “deluxe”. Could have used better inner sleeves. Now for what matters, the music. Clean, quiet, dynamic with a good amount of punch. I recommend.
