Reviews
- Amazingly great show, recording and pressing. I got completely lost in Lazy Lightning > Supplication. One of the best versions I’ve heard, with beautiful imaging and separation of the instruments.
- Edited one month agoSounds really really good - like bringing the past to life. Thanks GD family for this release. Finally I can “Get Shown The Light” on vinyl. Cornell, Buffalo, and Boston Garden are all great shows too so its awesome to complete the set. This is now reminiscent of the 4 shows in the Lyceum box set. 72 and 77 were captured well but we need more 89 and 90 full shows!
- Edited one month agoSounds so great! Along with the Boston and Cornell shows, New Haven sets the table for an amazing run thru New England that shows why the Spring 1977 tour is so revered. Flat clean and amazing sonics. High recommend!
- Anyone have a copy for sale in or around the Austin TX area had to work and couldn’t score a copy. Much appreciated!!
- This sounds great! Great era for the band. I was 19 in 1977. Being from the SF Bay Area I always like to hear the GD from various venues around the country. The vinyl LP’s are stellar. Flat, centered and quiet. Packaging is great. Sonically this is sweet. Keith’s piano work is fabulous on “Looks Like Rain”… Recommended.
- Edited one month agoNabbed it! Brilliant sound, great show! Loads better and more natural sounding than the Boston Garden show. You need to get this!
