Reviews
- Great pressing and a great album. One of the best sounds of my entire collection of Bunnymen so far.
- Indeed a wonderful pressing. This has to be the best among all the recent Bunnymen reissues. Highly recommended!
- At last, a vinyl pressing of this unloved Bunnymen release from 1999. Will Sergeant disliked it as there wasn’t enough for him to do on it, but to be fair Will as far as I can hear, is all over it, his unmistakable unique guitar licks and lead ins and hooks are what makes this in my ears a great Bunnymen album, worthy of a top 5 entry. I think what makes this a great album are the string arrangements and the addition of Guy Pratt the ever so great top British Bass sessionist. Les plays on the last track but Guy really grooves this album along. And this is a great reissue, the mastering is top class, I was thinking it would lose out on lower frequencies but no, the finished product is simply stunning on vinyl, it shines. If Will is reading this.. come on, give it another listen.
Well done. - Sounds absolutely flawless! Great job! Here’s hoping to have the rest of the catalogue pressed on vinyl.
