Notes
Black rectangular hype sticker with white text adhered to the shrink wrap:
"Oceansize Frames Presented on 3LP for the first time. Includes "'Voorhees'. Plus 2 bonus tracks previously only available on myspace. 8 page booklet with previously unseen photos and essay by Remfry Dedman. kscope 1249. kscopemusic.com/Oceansize".
Limited to 1000 copies pressed on three black vinyl LPs — confirmed by Mike Vennart on Instagram.
Triple gatefold sleeve with black poly-lined inner sleeves.
Made in Poland.
The track positions are sequentially numbered on the rear sleeve.
Track E9, 'Voorhees' was recorded during the 'Frames' sessions at Monnow Valley in May 2007. First issued as a bonus track on the original CD release of 'Frames' — released October 1st 2007.
Tracks F10 & F11, the demos of 'Siberian Bullshit' and ‘Red Rag to a Bear' were recorded live during 2006 in the Oceansize practice space. Made on spec for a demanding yet ultimately disinterested record company, the songs were performed live exactly once and never spoken of again. Previously released only on MySpace in appalling quality, their inclusion here is made possible only due to the discovery of the only CD-R featuring the original mixes.

Reviews
- Never owned this on vinyl because, frankly, I always liked the first two albums much more. So this reissue comes much appreciated and it is very good. The vinyl is quite thin but it is very silent and overall sounds great. Maybe a little distorted on the inner groove but I've heared worse. Also comes with poly-lined sleeves which is very nice. If it only wasn't a tri-fold sleeve... Radiohead this this much better with their 3LP OKNOTOK reissue. Vorhees is a great bonus though because it was strangely missing on the 2008 box set and never got released on vinyl. Overall very happy with this issue.
- It’s okay. My pressing is nearly faultless and the mastering is good. Trifolds are always a pain to handle. No audiophile quality by any means, but a welcome gem in any prog collection. The music defenitely lends itself to a far better mix/mastering, but it is what it is. As long as it remains limited release it’s nice.
- REPRESS INCOMING! Confirmed by Mike! DM response from him: “Hey man, fear not. It IS being repressed. I’ll get some more info and get back to you. Seems it sold way better than anyone expected”
Suck it flippers! - My shop oversold and so now I do t have a copy. If anyone has an extra that won’t charge flipper prices I’d be very grateful
- Side C is very loud and full of clicks and pops. It's a shame because the sound of the album is quite good.
- Decent mastering, definitely sounds more dynamic than the digital versions of the album I know. Very good instrument separation and especially the snare drum sounds really natural, which is always a good sign. My only complaint is that it sometimes sounds too bright in the loud parts for my ears, the highs are quite prominent, while it lacks some more lower mid range.
The pressing itself isn't perfect, but I had worse from Takt Direct. Most of the time it's quiet, with only slight surface noise and some ticks here and there. The only bummer with my copy is a small scratch on the beginning of side F. I never ever received a Takt Direct pressing without any issues, oh well... Overall still an above average pressing for them and better than for example the latest Oceansize pressing of Effloresce in that regard. I also like the triple gatefold, nice matte finish with a glossy band logo on the front cover.
I find it odd though that this seems to be so limited, a lot of people want this, why only 1000 copies? It's already sold out almost everywhere. - Just great. A lovely clean pressing and fairly loud for an Oceansize record as they tend to be pretty quiet. Well worth grabbing this gem if you can find one.
- Edited one month agothis re-release is almost impossible to find in germany... what's the deal with it?
