Too bad Cola Boy was such a short lived project. If you like this track, check out 9-10 Boy ("Boy", now I see, only 30+ years later, where they ripped off the name from!) "Robocop" 12" B-side "Revenge of the Gatorade" which samples this track so heavily it might as well be a remix. Excellent early 90's hardcore rave madness!

This was a big one at the huge raves in 1991 - hearing this booming out across the countryside on 100k systems in those hedonistic days was quite something....sums up the less hardcore side of 1991 nicely :)

The front cover artwork is actually traced from an illustration by Hisashi Eguchi, depicting the character Haruko from the anime film Roujin Z.

Holds a very special place in my heart as it was the first tune I came up to, in Shelleys Laserdome 91 or 92. And the whole arrangement appears simplistic, but is beautiful. It has a great kick and a lovely melody, what more d'ye want?!! :)

there's something about this song that just makes me happy when I hear it, I normally don't listen to "happy" house or happy whatever, I prefer the dark stuff at the best of times, but this song is just so camp and happy that I can't help myself, it makes me go all warm inside mmmmmmmm
