Edited one year agoThis may be the ultimate Freddie King collection if you are looking to learn a bunch of his blues heads. This is his definitive playing and writing style, captured all on one disc.
This is not the silly reissue mentioned in some other reviews where they added crowd noise, but I did also see that record in the store (FK Goes Surfin') and had the store owner play both to make sure I was not getting that garbage. These are all clean studio tracks.
Pressing sounds great. Reasonably tracked and mixed for the time., Nothing fancy.
