Worth hunting down a copy. IMO the extras take it from being a decent 10 track album (U.K. version) to being a really great listen, with the 13 tracks included fitting side-by-side perfectly.

Dark beautiful haunting trip hop of the very highest order. Beth Gibbon's voice is unbelievably unique & beautiful. The touch of melancholy in her vocals & her voice sometimes at breaking point, coupled with Andy Smith's superb beats make for a stunning & compelling combination. One of the greatest dance/electronic albums ever and probably of any genre.

perfect. a trippy dark female voice overcome with emotional lyrics over hypnotizing beats. its no mistake why portishead as popular as they are. it hasn't escaped my cd player for years.
