- I love "Happy Birthday", and this is why: it's the perfect set closer.
It's a tune that says, you've been on your journey, be it through hard trance, acid techno or whatever, and now you came home. Of course you have to play it right to the end.
Also it's a very Noom tune from these guys that you might not normally associate with this label.
Shouts to DJ Ramos for making this so clear to me - Edited 2 years agoMust agree with the comment below. Was expecting much more, especially from the A-side track 'Happy Birthday'. Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E. The Drummer are absolutely fantastic producers but, unfortunately, I was quite disappointed in this release. Don't get me wrong, the release is good, however, I was expecting a better surprise.
- Edited 7 years agoSo, let me make absolutely clear: I love Chris Lib, D.A.V.E., and Noom Records. But this release is surprisingly mediocre. It's not bad, really, but when I first learned of its existence, I was incredibly excited to hear it ... and then was quickly disappointed.
Again, both producers and Noom released countless top-notch tracks over the years, with Chris and Henry continuing to do so today. But this is a forgettable record, unfortunately.
