Reviews
- Edited 21 years agoThis is not only a techno classic, it is quite possibly the most important dance tune after the likes of "strings of life", Cybertron's "clear" and a small handful of other ground breaking releases. Kenny Larkin, the man behind this master peice is part of the second wave of Detroit artist along with the likes of Stacey Pullen, Claude Young and Carl Craig.
The tune "War of the Worlds" has the best use of claps and base i have ever heard, not layed together in an agressive way, more of an mythodical rhythim that stays constant throughout the whole track. With its unconverntional use of a siren throughout, plus other wierd "spacey" noises mean that you really feel like you are in a battle between the planets - us Vs them!
