Reviews
- Pure old-skool: crazed jungle beats and samples all over the place. Shitmat has a magpie sensibility on FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST, pulling little sounds and vocals from all over, and then grinding them with blender-like beats. "Shut Up" goes for a four-to-floor, in near-gabber mode, while "There's No Business Like Propa' Rungleclotted Mashup Bizznizz" kicks off with the Broadway classic before morphing into.. well, something else entirely. "Big Ben's Big Remix" takes a chunk of the late 90s house hit 'Stand Up' as its base, slowly getting crazier, and poor Harry Belafonte's 'Banana Boat Song' gets mulched in "Day 0." The album is wild and aggressive and probably not everyone's cup of tea.
