- Delerium Featuring Sarah McLachlan – Silence (Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise Remix).
Theres a reason the In Search of Sunrise Remix has nearly 70 million views on youtube. Thats because its perfection. I was lucky enough to be a young raver when this was released & managed to hear it on many sound systems through out the U.K. The production of this track is nothing but outstandning and still some of the best work to be released by the Tiesto brand. It will always be my number one go too record for ending an early morning set! An absolute monster of a Trance Classic & an easy top 5 of all time! - The Tiesto remix is one of the most tedious and boring trance tunes I've ever heard. The fact that it completely overshadowed the phenomenal Airscape remix is SAD!
- Edited 15 years agoIf there was ever a song I am sick of most; it is this one! I enjoyed listening and playing the promo for a long time; until every pub, club, cd & radio station were playing it to death.
On the Tiesto mix with the stupid woman wailing over what was originally a good track the years before it was remixed, the trebles are too high and wherever it's played loud it always hurts the ear drums. However, the Airscape mix is pretty good and in my opinion is the better substitute. Roll over Tiesto, you've had your day of robbing other people's credit. - Edited 15 years agoThis release was always going to be huge.
Nearly all the attention was given to the DJ Tiesto remix. Vocal trance is a difficult genre in which to succeed. Many try, but nearly all fail, miserably it has to be said. Somehow or another, DJ Tiesto manages to take his 'In Search Of Sunrise Remix' to the very point of commercial unacceptability, without crossing the dreaded line. He even manages to graft in the vocals to such excellent results that the haunting song will never leave you thereafter.
The only criticism I can level at the DJ Tiesto remix is that it is probably just a bit too long for its own good, and could benefit from some tidying up.
