Edited 2 years agoThis album blows my mind everytime. It’s so soothing stylish and sexy and hits the soul deeply. Perfect sounds for a lazy sunny beach day. Great production which amazes me every time I go back and listen on a great system. Heartfelt soulful vocals and spot on rhythms and beats. Heavenly.
Two decades later, this album still sound great... This is one album that every Deep House fan must have in their music collection...
I can play this album over & over again without pressing the skip button... It’s a solid album from start to finish... No fillers, every song is absolutely golden...
No one makes Deep House music like this anymore, except for Miguel Migs though, that dude makes great records...
Jay Denes is a genius, he should be proud of himself, for making one of the greatest Deep House albums in the last two decades...

Naked Music un sello espectacular - When Blue Six's debut album BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW came out, I remember describing it as 'chocolate for the ears.' I stand by that assessment today. It still stands as Jay Denes' best work, smooth and soulful all the way through. He takes R&B romanticism and places it firmly in a house context. Lisa Shaw lends her vocals to "Let's Do It Together," for a sultry come-on, while the trumpet on "Close to Home" introduce a jazz element to the atmosphere. His two big hits, "Music and Wine" and "Pure" appear in both their vocals forms as well as in dubbed versions, lending themselves to the late-night vibe. A few tracks toward the middle of the album glide by a bit too painlessly, though, but stronger works, such as "Come Inside" help balance it out. What makes this album special is that he's able to merge emotional vocal work (such as on "All I Need") with meaningful melodies. You can't but feel optimistic with the title track. After this album, I expected Blue Six to have many beautiful tomorrows, but, alas, it didn't turn out that way.
- Edited 13 years agoI agree with the comments above and just wanted to mention that the Teksoul Dub of "Music And Wine" is an ultra smooth and sexy deep dub house tune. If you want to listen to music while having sex, try this one.
