Reviews
- Really good Jazz record. Unfortunately, like most of the Superfly Records releases, it sounds like crap. Yes, it does. You hear the bass, the drums, percussion, the piano, the violin…but you don’t FEEL them. It’s as if they are brickwalled behind Mr. Fujieda’s horn, which comes out right in your face…When will recording, mastering and cutting engineers wake up and realize that music is not only the notes and chords you hear, but also the sound of the drum stick hitting the skins, fingers on a keyboard or strings, the horn player’s breathing on the reed…None of that is present here. What a shame. Save yourself some money, buy the download.

AMG Giro Turntable, AT-ART20, Atma-Sphere MP-1, Atma-Sphere MA-1 and Dunlavy SC-VI - I'm all for the free markets and if people want to make a buck, knock yourself out but holy Jeebus. They've already announced they're repressing this thing later this fall.
- The latest marketing buzzword after "limited" is "strictly limited" now. We´re awaiting the repress of this "strictly limited to 1,000 copies" edition.
- Beautiful album. Happy that I overpaid for a copy.
All the whining about price gouging below is cope. You guys are mad that you cannot get a desirable, very limited and completely unnecessary item at retail. I am too, but supply and demand exists - c'est la vie. - The repress has already come out. Mr. Bongo USA just had copies for $41–they sold out. Shame on the distributors/record stores listing a repress on here for the flipper prices.
- The avantage of what happened here is now u can avoid the sellers who already sold it hug cash as they are thieves for the other sells on their profile!
Keep the fire burning diggers! And be aware of these fuckin wrong sellers!
Reissue 2nd press 100% confirmed in Autumn - I agree. I make my living buying and reselling vinyl but to buy the stock of a contemporary artist’s newly released record only to quadruple the price is completely unethical. Even if I had a crystal ball and knew with 100% certainty, I’d never do this. If anyone deserves a premium it’s the artist. It’s a brand new record, not a 50 year old antique. Nobody deserves to buy something brand new and mark it up 4x next week, especially if they artificially create its scarcity by monopolizing the inventory.
