- catch vicelli, hardbodies, and bali high are standouts on this record for me. i gotta say though, this album as a whole feels like it's missing something..? a lot of the tracks leave me waiting for something to happen that doesn't ever happen. when i first got this wax i loved it, really. coming back to it a few years later though, it sounds kinda empty to me. it just doesn't feel like a lot went into really BUILDING these into actual songs. sounds more like nostalgia for the sake of nostalgia than it does anything else. like my dad just jamming and messing around in the garage when i was a kid. and you know, maybe that's what they were going for. it just leaves something to be desired considering these dudes individually have some explosive, deep work. i know they coulda kicked it up a few notches and rounded these out so they didn't just sound like disposable background tracks from a b-movie.
