Notes

Recorded August 17 1956.

Previously released on the Contemporary label (LAC 12100) under the same title. At the time of this recording, Andre Prévin appears courtesy of Decca Records Inc.

Although this is a stereo release, as printed on the cover, and the sound quality is stereo, both of the MFP labels show the word MONO very clearly.

I don't have another version to compare this with but the quality of Roy DuNann's engineering on the original recording comes through nicely on this edition, and with it the tight playing of the trio. According to the deadwax EMI had this remastered for the mfp version... a nice job.
