I'm pretty sure that goodiepal is actually v/vm and Janksy noise having a laugh with everyone and scamming the media.
    Although that's only my opinion.

All I have to say about this release is that rumours has it that a vinyl version was made, but I have never seen or heard it, so if somebody could confirm this rumour some of us completists would be very happy indeed.

Anyway, now that I got started, I will also say that this is two Scandinavian mad men in action playing along with some jizz'ed out pagan Christmas idea that I believe nobody ever really got. I never understood it at least. But hey, it’s on BMG/RCA, that’s weird don’t you think? - Did they ever hear the music before they signed up with these two crazy men? Just look at the cover, might be something to think about??

One has to wonder how on earth the Goodiepal & Bjorn Svin ended up being signed to RCA / BMG back in 1997 with this hilariously good / bad release. What on earth was going through the minds of these major label moguls when they got them to sign on the dotted line? How did they even hear this ridiculously silly music in the first place? The release itself is only very loosely themed around Christmas with the odd jingle bell sound and oddly catchy riff or melody. It's the general funkiness of the release, though, that makes it a worthwhile investment for fans of this Danish wonder - well, that and the awful photo of Goodiepal and Bjorn Svin on the front cover looking about 12 years old. It's mostly Electro-Pop done with tongue firmly in cheek and a great sense of fun... and if that floats your boat -I actually thought it was very good indeed. You should invest in this little slice of history forthwith. Awful, yet brilliant at the same time.
