Cross pollination like this should happen way more often. In the case of Pigs Of The Roman Empire, the results are jaw-dropping. Brian Williams' sangria of black atmosphere and production fused with the metal-gloom of the Melvins make this a no-brainer for fans of either camp. It's bleak, and it rocks. My only complaint is that it didn't happen earlier.
