Edited one year ago
I never really liked polite hippie Neil, After the Goldrush and Harvest are 2 of his records I tend to skip, so this LP is much more to my taste. To my ears it's a beast, super up front, raw and real. Love the songs, saw Neil play L.A. (City in the Smog) at the L.A. Forum in 2015 and it was amazing. Don't Be Denied one of his best IMO. Love this record, one of my favorites in his whole discography, and this Santa Maria pressing slaps. Play it loud.
