I love "Stevie Wonder", I really do, but "The Woman In Red (Selections From The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)" is where he started to REALLY slide.....

I understand that it was the '80's, different decade, different sounds, I get that...But at times, it is still hard for me to swallow...."Stevie" (with help from Engineer "Gary Olazabal") on this set sounded like he was trying hard to keep up, and with very mixed results....

I will only mention the best songs on here....

"Love Light In Flight". is an Ultimate Crown Jewel....It has an infectious Melody, and a FANTASTIC Beat....

The other Ultimate Crown Jewel, "Weakness" (featuring the Songtress herself, "Dionne Warwick"), qualifies as that "Classic Stevie Wonder Slow Jam"....

"Don't Drive Drunk", the 3rd Crown Jewel, was a much needed anthem about Drunk Driving and a great supporter of M.A.D.D. (Mothers Against Drunk Driving...Ok, don't LAUGH at me....I know it was obvious!!!!)....

Then there is the MONSTER #1 Hit, "I Just Called To Say I Love You"....Even though this is a "Stevie Wonder Favorite" (and I do like it), at times it can get a little stale....

The rest of the album to me is just there...This is why, I stopped the Album Revolution for "Stevie"...I just could not in good conscience do it...Sorry Guys, but with "The Woman In Red" as a complete album, I just couldn't hang.......
