Lorde is so progressive. Instead of appearing in the music videos for this album she allowed a 50yo man to stand in for all of them. So kind of her to give an unknown old man a shot. On that note he isnt much of an actor, trying way too hard to come off dramatic and sultry and it's unintentionally hilarious.
When lorde sang “I’m on the tennis court with my friends” I knew we were deealin with someone fresh. But now a pic dic? I AM AN AU DI O FI LE

hammer has a few skips and pops but otherwise the record sounds fine for a picture disc! david is significantly quiet though- kinda bummed as aesthetically it’s definitely the best option for this album. Unfortunately all throughout clicks & pops + slight warp — I know picture disks aren’t revered for their quality but there are definitely some out there that are properly executed. This isn’t one of them :/
- I really wanted to love this pressing, considering how far in advance I ordered it and that it came with the signed insert. I like pictures discs more than most, and have never really had an issue with the perceived sound quality.
Unfortunately, my pressing is filled with clicks and pops, compared to the pristine quality of my Bathwater variant. It’s sad, because the picture disc is GORGEOUS and the gatefold design is ethereal and mysterious. I’m pleased to own this limited pressing, but I don’t think I’m likely to play it as much as the Bathwater variant. - The pressings sounds good for a picture disc. I was shocked. Mine has a slight warp but most do now a days tbh. Wonder which other pressing is best.
In love with this pressing, looks amazing and sounds great. Need more picture discs pressed on clear vinyl!
Are the inserts from the U.S. store album size or slightly smaller?
