- My copy is #758. Flat and clean out of the sleeves.
Sounds amazing; the soundstage is great; the bass is present, the toms from the drums are there, the guitar and the voice are clear and sharp, even the cowbell on "Your time has come" is present and noticeable.
Did an A/B test with my other copy from 2023 https://www.discogs.com/release/26848352-Audioslave-Out-Of-Exile and this one blows it out of the park, without doubt.
This is my forever copy, I think \o/ - The pressing is good. My replacement copy is flat. I wonder if all these reports of warped copies could be related to the dark printed color of the mailer and the summer heat. IVC should get a grip on this asap or it’s going to kill them
- Add me to the chorus of folks who received a warped record. What the heck happened to RTI's quality control? It's a shame because the record does sound great when it's not making my stylus bounce
- Also received a warped copy, emailed them this morning but they have run out of replacement copies so they have refunded me. I'm gonna take it into a store and see if they can flatten it.
- As a lover of vinyl records and classic rock, I was excited to get my hands on a copy of Audioslave's "Out of Exile" released by the Interscope Vinyl Collective. The album is a fantastic blend of heavy riffs and soulful vocals, and I was eager to see how it would sound on vinyl.
The copy I received is numbered #1327 out of 3000, which adds a sense of exclusivity and collectability to the record. The cover art is simple yet striking, featuring a black and white image of the band with the album title and track list on the back.
Upon playing the record, I was immediately struck by the warmth and richness of the sound. While it's true that the sound quality may not be the absolute best, it certainly isn't the worst either. The guitar riffs have a raw, gritty quality to them that adds to the overall energy of the album.
But what really sets this record apart is Chris Cornell's soulful vocals. When I play the album, it feels like Cornell's voice fills the room, enveloping me in a wave of emotion and intensity. From the soaring highs of "Doesn't Remind Me" to the haunting lows of "Man or Animal," Cornell's voice is the true star of the show.
Overall, I give this vinyl release of Audioslave's "Out of Exile" a five-star rating. While the sound quality may not be perfect, the raw energy and soulful vocals more than make up for it. If you're a fan of Audioslave or just classic rock in general, this vinyl release is definitely worth adding to your collection. - Customer service was really excellent. I complained that A/B was so warped that it made my record stylus bounce. C/D was warped too. They sent a replacement copy immediately. But that replacement copy isn't acceptable either. A/B is still warped and so is C/D. I'd be careful buying any unopened copy. Check with the seller to make sure they've played it once and can vouch for the condition.
- #1012. I have minimum warp on A/B, completely flat C/D.
Sounds really great, literally zero pops or cracks. Quite loud record as well. Bass is a bit thin but I cannot say it sounds flat, it's just a bit airy. Overall, really nice edition to my liking. I have on OG version to compare though.
