I still remember the day I bought this and the impact it had on my life. Still to this day it blows me away with each listen. Whilst technically simple in design, the selection of the records and the structure of this mix is almost perfection. A thoroughly entertaining listen that I never tire of.

"Immer" means "always" in German, and this mix stands the test of time. Maybe not on first listen, but each trip back into the folds of Michael Mayer's excellent mix yields something new every time, not to mention the track selection and flow is of equal caliber. Necessary mix for any electronic music fan.

Immer is Michael Mayer's album that got me hooked to KOMPAKT and remains one of the very best albums ever released on the label. Although minimal, it’s warmth and groove is so intense, so dense, so deep, you can almost touch it. Deadly album! In my personal Top 10!
