Reviews
- I still love the unique style of this crew, between ragga and hip hop typisms, the quite unconventional use of beats and samples, paired with straight scratches and sort of off atmosphere. "Shakiyla" is classic material, "Easy Star" invites you to bop your head, "Rappin´ Black" has been put together super slick with its oldschool flavour and the presence of Wise Intelligent is priceless, he basically dominated the crew all the time, think about the 5% influence whatever you want. Great production by the imho somehow underappreciated Tony D (R.I.P.) and overall a must have for any serious hip hop lover.
- No deadwax information shown here. Mine has the same number as the Promo but has a black label. It has the Specialty Records logo in the deadwax.
