My copy has hiss noises annoying on B1 "To Our Disco Friends". It sounds as if it came from the sampling itself. Does everyone have the same problem?

Obviously having the title 'tribute' and a cover shot of Hamilton Bohannon, this is, erm, a tribute to Hamilton Bohannon!

Aside from 'To Our Disco Friends', the most accessible track on here, this is top calibre, abstract boo-f**ery of the highest order. One for the heads, & you can forget 'Disco Stomp', this is off the chain. 'Ultra-Range Sound Process' cracks me up, its so stupid. 'Me & The Gang' features as the source for the last track, only to end abruptly just as 'that' sample used by Paul Johnson is finally about to kick in! I think our Disco friends were in a slightly jovial mood when they approached this project... And it's refreshing.

"To Our Disco Friends" contains samples of "Bohannon Disco Symphony" (1977).

The cover shows Bohannon, a disco/funk artist from the mid 70's. Presumably the tracks contain lots of samples from his old tracks, like "Bohannon's Beat", "Disco Stomp" and so on...
